Are you drawn to the land where you don’t know where the earth ends, and the sky begins? Stretch your horizons in the mountains of Montenegro. Besides her majestic mountains, Montenegro boasts many other diverse natural resources, including treasured national parks, plunging canyons, and dozens of unique ecosystems full of life. Why is this country so amazing, you may ask? That question can only be answered when you witness iconic sites that witness eras gone by, beaches where sand and pebble blend perfectly with turquoise waters, breathtaking azure bays and lagoons where ships and yachts sail, and the overall unforgettable vistas that exist almost everywhere you turn.
Beyond the classroom
Three days in Žabljak.
Durmitor · Black Lake · Tara Bridge
During the summer school, we will spend three days in Žabljak, exploring Durmitor National Park and the surrounding mountain scenery. The trip combines outdoor activities with time to get to know fellow students and experience another side of Montenegro.
The planned visits include Black Lake and Tara Bridge, with views over Tara Canyon and an optional zip-line experience. Accommodation and breakfast for the Žabljak stay are included in the registration fee.
Your stay
Accommodation & Podgorica
We would like to provide you with some information about your accommodation during the program. All participants will be accommodated in Podgorica, the capital and largest city of Montenegro. Your accommodation will be arranged in a student apartment, hotel, or hostel, located conveniently close to the venue where the lectures and practical workshops will take place.
The accommodation will be situated in a convenient area of the city, allowing participants to easily reach the educational venue and explore Podgorica during their free time. The city centre will also be approximately 10-15 minutes away on foot, providing easy access to cafés, restaurants, shops and other city attractions.
Podgorica is located in the heart of Montenegro and is known for its relaxed atmosphere, pleasant climate and proximity to some of the country’s most beautiful natural and historical sites. Among the city’s notable landmarks are the Millennium Bridge, one of Podgorica’s most recognizable symbols, and the Old Bridge over the Morača River, which reflects the city’s historical heritage.
Accommodation arrangements will be organized with the comfort and convenience of participants in mind. More detailed information about the accommodation, including the exact location and additional arrangements, will be provided approximately 30 days before the summer school begins.

Social Program
We have decided to take the social program to visit some parts of Montenegro. We are not a large country, but believe us, 8 days are too short to see everything you need to see when you come here, so we have chosen a couple of tours to scratch the surface of everything.
Students usually visit a few places and enjoy the sea and mountains of Montenegro. Here are some sites that you will see through the Social program.
